Introduction:
The Food Quality Management integrates the concepts of food technology, quality assurance and management. This MS program integrates the quality processes in supply chain through various managerial approaches. The food supply chain is vital for maintaining quality and to achieve satisfaction of final consumer. This two-year MS also gives the students a chance to understand the basic problems both at social and life sciences. Students will study the advanced approaches in food quality, quality assurance, quality design, quality improvement and various business strategies.
Program Objectives
MS Food Quality Management has the following main objectives;
- To develop a comprehensive understanding of various food quality issues faced by the food industry
- To provide a comprehensive know how about the recent tools that are developed internationally to tackle the food quality issues
- To train on various analytical instruments and equipments
- To develop research and analytical skills for effective evaluation of quality issues
- To develop effective scientific writing and publications skills for effective dissemination of research outputs.

Students may have challenging careers in field of Food Quality Assurance, multinational industries and analytical laboratories. Moreover, students have chance to enter in various Government offices like various Food Authorities, Ministry of National Food Security and Research, and Food Security.
