The BS-CRP program 2024 at UMT is comparable to any international 4-year degree program and is compatible with the curriculum suggested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. The preparation of the curriculum, selection of the faculty, and planning of the infrastructure facilities such as dedicated buildings, classrooms, labs, and other resources are designed to fulfill the Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) and PEC requirements. The curriculum covers an intensive coverage of theoretical understanding of planning concepts and practical experience in planning projects. The broad areas of knowledge covered under this degree course include; Mathematics, Engineering Sciences, Geography, Sociology, Statistics, Economics, Mapping, Community and Social Work, Management and Administrative Sciences, Applied Computer Sciences, Remote Sensing, and Geographic Information systems (GIS).
