Objectives

The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management degree program has been designed to accomplish following key objectives for the students:

Curriculum

The curriculum has been designed according to the HEC guidelines for undergraduate degree programs. Students will study 18 compulsory and general courses and 9 foundation courses. Total of 11 core courses entirely from hospitality and tourism discipline with 4 electives. Students will also be involved in social responsibility activities, national and international learning tours, fieldwork projects throughout the program at different stages.

General Admission Requirements for Undergraduate Bachelor of Professional Studies:

  • Intermediate or equivalent (12 years) qualification with minimum 45% in Intermediate and no 3rd division in previous academic career as per UMT criteria.
  • In case of O Level, A Level, American High School Diploma or any other equivalent foreign qualification, an equivalence certificate from IBCC is mandatory.
  • In case the foreign diploma/transcript is in any language other than English or Urdu, an officially translated copy of the diploma/transcript is mandatory.
  • An officially translated copy is the one verified by the degree awarding institution, respective foreign ministry or an authorized public notary.
  • 50% passing marks in Admission Test and Interview are required for admission
