Program Introduction

The program is structured in accordance with the precedents set by top European and American law schools while adhering to the curriculum prescribed by Higher Education Commission.

UMT School of Law and Policy (SLP) follows the standards devised by its faculty on the same lines as top American, European, and South East Asian universities. The faculty’s aim is to produce commercial lawyers who are able to meet these benchmarks. Resultantly, LL.M. in Commercial Law is a rigorous program. Those interested in pursuing the degree must be hardworking, creative, eager to learn, and committed to excel in the field of commercial law. Unlike certain other LL.M. programs in Pakistan, the degree requirements cannot be completed in a piecemeal, casual manner. It is a serious commitment.

Program Details

2 Years

An applicant must have a first law degree (J.D., LL.B., LL.B. (Hons.), BA/LL.B., or equivalent) from a Pakistani or foreign university in order to be considered for admission.
45% marks in annual system or 2.5 out of 4 CGPA
GAT 50%

No 3rd Division in Entire Academic Career.
