MS Human Nutrition and Dietetics

Program Introduction

This research-based MS Human Nutrition and Dietetics  (approved by HEC) has been designed to strengthen the knowledge and skills related to Human Nutrition and Dietetics in accordance with the recommendations and prerequisites put forth by the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan., Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, School of Food and Agricultural Sciences will provide more hands-on experience for students in lab equipment and research approaches to design innovative strategies for facing the challenges related to nutrition and dietetics along with the provision of practically-applicable solutions. This is the key to success and most of the students do believe in practical knowledge rather than theoretical.

Program Details

2 Years
  • BS/B.Sc (Hons) Human Nutrition & Dietetics with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 (out of 4).
  • Doctor of Dietetics and Nutritional Sciences (DDNS) with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 (out of 4).
  • MBBS with 1 Year Post Graduate Diploma in Nutrition with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 (out of 4) Only 5 Seats.
  • BS/B.Sc. (Hons) Food Science and Technology/Food Science with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 (out of 4).
  • BS/B.Sc. (Hons) Dairy Technology with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 (out of 4).
  • B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture (specializing in Food Technology) with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 (out of 4).
  • BS Home economics (Food and Nutrition) with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 (out of 4).
  • 50% marks in annual system.
  • GAT(General)/ UMT Graduate Admission Test(at least 50%)
  • Admission Interview by UMT
  • No third division in the entire academic career.
